Welcome!
About
I’m Meg, a fisheries scientist, educator, story-teller, and artist living in Washington State–a beautiful, rich, and abundant natural landscape.
Science
As a scientist, I am interested in temporal aspects of ecological relationships, the role of biological factors (like food web interactions) in salmon habitat restoration work, and reciprocal relationships in nature that can include humans.
Communication
As an environmental educator, science communicator, and graphic designer, I am interested in projects that share information transparently, encourage place-based connections for people, and engage in conversations by using art and data.
Art
As an artist, I am most interested in place-based art that celebrates the PNW, whether it’s stippling, linocut block prints, watercolors, or even making natural inks and pigments.
